What is it?

In conjunction with our friends Mary Mack and Kaylee Waltad from EDRM, join XDD for our first annual Forensics Event in Boston, MA on Wednesday, May 6th from 8:30-7:00 PM EST.   Comprised of a powerful blend of 3rd party and internal XDD Forensics experts across all phases of the spectrum, the event will showcase subject matter expertise presented via keynote speakers, featured speakers, panel discussions and hands-on forensics sessions.

Produced to educate eDiscovery practitioners across all phases of the EDRM as the world of Forensics continues to evolve, the free 1-day event will cover a wide range of engaging topics ranging from collections to mobile to cyber security and beyond.

Targeting participants from law firms, corporations, government and law enforcements agencies, the XDD / EDRM event expects to attract 75-100 attendees from the immediate Boston, New England mid-Atlantic states.

In addition to light breakfast fare and a full lunch served onsite, the event will commence with a 2-hour cocktail reception from 5-7 with drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres.


Where is it?

The XDD / EDRM Forensics event will be held at the State Room located at 60 State St. in downtown Boston, MA 02109.  Overlooking the beautiful Boston harbor, the event venue will take place specifically in the Harbor Side Room located on the 33rd floor.

When is it?

The XDD / EDRM Forensics event will be held on Wed, May 6th from 8:30-5:00 PM EST to be followed by a cocktail reception from 5:00-7:00.

The full day event will be comprised of a blend of the following presentation formats designed to fully engage with the audience throughout the day.

Craig Ball hails from Texas but now happily calls the Big Easy home.  An experienced Texas trial attorney and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Law teaching Electronic Evidence and Digital Discovery, Craig is an expert in digital forensics, emerging technologies, visual persuasion, electronic discovery, and trial tactics, limiting his practice to service as a court-appointed Special Master in Electronically-Stored Information.

An energetic speaker at CLE programs for the bench and the bar throughout the world, Craig is also an instructor in computer forensics and electronic evidence to multiple government, law enforcement and security agencies. Craig’s articles frequently appear in the national media. For nine years, he wrote the award winning column on computer forensics and e-discovery for American Lawyer Media called “Ball in your Court,” and still pens a popular blog of the same name at ballinyourcourt.com.  Craig Ball is the 2019 recipient of the Texas Bar’s Gene Cavin Award for Lifetime Achievement in Continuing Education

Join XDD, EDRM, event speakers and attendees for a 2-hour cocktail reception onsite overlooking Boston harbor.  Cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres and engaging conversation to be served.

To get to know everyone better and thank you for your participation, please join XDD / EDRM for a pre-event speaker dinner at the XYZ restaurant on Tuesday, May 5th from 6-8 PM EST.  Toast the event with cocktails and dinner with XDD, EDRM and your peers.
